Beginning in 2011, Andrew and Samantha Reed began growing and selling mushrooms to local restaurants and local farmers’ markets as Mossy Creek Mushrooms. Mossy Creek was the original name of the community that is now Jefferson City. The history and story associated to the name appealed to us.
As time passed, we expanded into the more technical aspects, including sterile lab work and culture development. With new aspects of the business came new staff members. Ben Erickson is our chief tinkerer and his sister, Melanie Andromidas, has taken over responsibility for this website and the online portals.

Purchase our mushrooms locally
We are first and foremost a mushroom farm. We supply restaurants, grocery, and local customers directly.
Locals can order a bulk Mushroom Box or purchase fresh by the 1/4, 1/2, and 1lb order sizes directly from the farm. Order online for local pickup only please.
We offer learning mentorships.
Our mentorships offer mushroom farms hands on training in the daily running of their mushroom business.
